With the help of the Americans with Disabilities Act and IDEA, students with disabilities are no longer found in separate classrooms from their peers. Instead, you see them learning and engaging in the same environment as everyone else. While this is an amazing learning experience for all involved, it can be scary and perhaps a little frustrating for those who do not fully understand what a particular disability entails. The following website is one that I frequently referenced throughout my graduate program. It provides excellent articles on various learning disabilities along with possible strategies that you may be able to use in the classroom.
